1. All clients will be deemed to have accepted Dulwich Dog Walk's terms and conditions (as laid out here).
2. Payment – For new clients – Payment must be made in full (agreed at time of booking) prior to any services rendered. Once an established client – Payment is to be made within 7 days of receipt of invoice, via cash, cheque or bank transfer.
3. The client must provide all items necessary for pets to be adequately cared for in the client’s absence. (ie, food, medication, leads, tags, collars etc). Should dogs require any additional supplies whilst in the care of Dulwich Dog Walk, these will be purchased and invoiced for.
4. If it is necessary for keys to be picked up or dropped off in order to complete a service, charges will be applied for each trip.
5. The client must provide Dulwich Dog Walk with the name and contact number of someone capable of making a decision relating to the dog(s) in an emergency. If the contact is not available Dulwich Dog Walk reserves the right to consult with a veterinary surgeon and then make a decision to which is in the best interest of the animal. Dulwich Dog Walk will take your pet to the vet listed on the Client Consent Form, but if immediate treatment is needed then your pet will be taken to the nearest vet to the location.
6. The client is responsible for any veterinary bills, no matter how they are incurred, whilst pets are in the care of Dulwich Dog Walk.
7. Dulwich Dog Walk must be alerted to any behavioural problems with their dog(s) at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in additional charges or cancellation of any future booking.
8. Although Dulwich Dog Walk are insured for public liability, wherever possible, Dogs should be insured by the client.
9. Dulwich Dog Walk will care for your animal as you would, and whilst we will make every effort to ensure your dog is well looked after in your absence, we cannot be held liable for any loss, injury or death to a dog either inside or outside of the home whilst in our care.
Terms and Conditions – Dog Walking
1. For cancellations of a ‘group walk’ or a ‘1-2-1 walk’ a notice of 48 hours must be given. If the required notice is not given, charges will be applied in full for the cancelled period.
2. All dogs being exercised must be fully vaccinated and on a regular flea and worm control regime.
3. All dogs being walked will undergo a trial period to ensure that they are adequately trained and socialised.
4. Dulwich Dog Walk reserves the right to cancel the booking at any time and with immediate effect if the dog does not respond well to the walker and/or other dogs.
5. All dogs will be exercised on a lead unless prior agreement has been reached with Dulwich Dog Walk and a disclaimer form has been signed.
6. The walker will apply personal judgment and cut short a walk if necessary because of extreme weather conditions, for the safety of both the dog(s) and the walker.
7. If dogs require a toweling off after walks, towels must be provided and left by the front door.
8. The client will supply suitable collars or harnesses and leads for the dog, and any coats or other accessories which the client wishes to be used.
9. All dogs must wear a suitable collar containing an identification tag.
Terms and Conditions – Dog Sitting, House sitting .
1. For a cancellation of a booking, a notice of 48 hours must be given. If the required notice is not given, the full rate for the cancelled services will be charged.
2. The client should notify their neighbours and their home insurance company that Dulwich Dog Walk will be visiting the property in the client’s absence.
3. The client is to provide all necessary items suitable for their dog(s) care, this includes habitat/bedding, food, toys and medication (if needed)
4. Dulwich Dog Walk will make adequate steps to ensure your home is safe and secure in your absence, however Dulwich Dog Walk cannot be held responsible for any burglaries or accidents caused by your dog(s).
5. We may require to secure your booking with a 50% non-refundable deposit. Should the service be cancelled less than 48 hours prior, full payment will be charged.
6. Dulwich Dog Walk takes great pride in the care of any dog in their charge, however, they cannot be held responsible for any loss, accident, injury or death caused to any animal whilst in their care.
7. All dogs are to have up to date inoculations, and on a regular flea and worm control regime prior to admittance.
8. Clients must notify the veterinary surgery that Dulwich Dog Walk will be attending the appointment on their behalf, and ensure that arrangements for payment have been made with either Dulwich Dog Walk or the vet.
